Photo session of an almost 2-year-old family

Danielle Bryson Photography

With as many amateur photos as we’ve been taking of our travels so far, I realize that Ang doesn’t show up in most of them since she’s the one usually cognizant enough to grab our Canon G12 and capture these moments. Also, she took a beginner DSLR photography workshop back in January while she was in NorCal, so I generally defer to her when snapping shots. That being said, it was time for us to get some family photos done since Max is almost (gulp) two! So we looked for a pro.

We knew we wanted to be outdoors for these photos, and decided that Greenville was the perfect spot since we were already loving the beautiful area and feeling so darn good about the city. Ang did an internet search on area family photographers, and after perusing five or so portfolios online, found the amazing work of Danielle Bryson. Because of our limited tour timeframe, Danielle shuffled her schedule around, and got us in bright and early on a Saturday morning for a shoot near Falls Park. (Click here for even more samples of our shoot.)

Danielle was sweet, extraordinarily easy to work with, and terrific with Max. You could tell she was a people person, which is why her photos are so amazing. We all got along so well with her, that she and her two boys Colton and Ridge met Ang and Max at the zoo the following week for a playdate, and then we all had brunch at MaryBeth’s together with her husband Rick, the day before we headed out of town. Seriously, Greenville people = supernice!

We love these photos. Danielle really captured Max’s impish, reserved joy. Click here for even more samples of our shoot.
