Eva at 1 week old

Still basking in the afterglow of Eva’s natural birth while still in Annville, PA, I decided to take advantage of our lush surroundings and get Eva’s newborn portraits done. The photographer I really liked specialized in natural light family portraiture, and she also turned out to be the mother of a schoolmate of Mike’s little brother George! Small world in a small town.

The shoot was outdoors in late July, a steamy late afternoon in the 90’s. While Eva looks all snuggly and sweet, we were in actuality wilting like lettuce leaves in the humidity. Thank you Christine for keeping us upbeat and dewy-looking!
