Mike will be a guest storyteller at Cartwheels & Coffee in Carytown, Richmond on Wednesday, March 7 at 10 am! He will be sharing one of Max’s favorite books, “Is Your Mama a Llama?”, holding some roaring lessons, and singing a song or two from The Lion King. Come on out and say hello!

This place is a super-cute, fun, and shockingly unique place for Max here in Richmond. It’s a toddler playland with a built-in café for parents. Overall, it’s a comfy, clean place for pre-schoolers and parents to hang. It’s a simple and kind of genius idea. We wonder why there are not more places like this?

Mike and Max test out the climbing wall…

“I made it, Mama!”

A perfect perch to survey the other kiddos…

There are comfortable, clean seating areas for the grownups.

There’s even a café with coffee drinks, milk and treats for everyone!

Very cool! We wish we had one of these in our neighborhood. Will you post photos of the storytime? Or video perhaps? We’d love to see!

Wow, this sounds like an amazing time! I’m now pondering the difficulty of finding a sub for my shift in the preschool class. I know my twin boys would love to come roar!

I found your blog because of the Cartwheels and Coffee email promoting the event. Having great fun reading through your adventures… Thanks so much for sharing them! Hope Mike breaks a leg Wednesday whether we make it or not, and that Richmond is treating your family well!
